tell him/her what you are going to do next summer. 

Try to follow the clues and read the example given.

CLUES        1.  Begin the letter with the accurate greeting: dear…        2. Be polite and make some questions to the other person.        3. Explain why you are writing and start giving the main information.        4. Finish with an appropriate comment and a greeting.

Dear María, How are you? I hope everything is OK there. I send you this email to tell you some news! You cannot imagine and you won’t believe it:  This summer I am going on holiday to Spain!!!!!!!!!!!! My parents decided to send me there to study Spanish in an academy and so I will stay there during a whole month! It will be in July, I hope to see you every day and to spend a lot of time together. I will go to Madrid; I will stay with a host family in the city center so I suppose we won’t be very far away as you live in Madrid too. As you know, I have never been to Madrid, so I want to visit the city and all the important places. I suppose it is a very big city, but I think that one month will be enough.   Write to me soon and tell me your news! Love. Emma
